So a project I worked on won a Stevie Award last night. The job was for MasterCard and the agency I work for, IconNicholson, were the proud recipients. The job I actually worked on a while back and the job has since been replaced but what the hey. We did it with a skeleton team and a short time frame so the fact we would be recognized for it is pretty good. I worked as the Art Director on the job but this was minus a Creative Director and any production people so for the most part I was undertaking the creation and production of the thing with the help of other creative minds in the concepting. I did also work with a Flash Developer, Jared Stanley, who help me realize some dynamic visualization elements that really resonated with the client. I have to admit I didn’t know what the Stevie Award was but it The American Business Award. Lots of guys in suits and bizarre categories for awards. Anyway, we won.
